Ladies, I know you can agree that there has been a plethora of sexy going on. There are a lot of amazing bodies in 2016, thanks to fitness and health – or a little cosmetic surgery…. or maybe a lot of cosmetic surgery (which I am not against by the way). Whatever the reason, women are looking amazing these days. It’s a growing and on going trend to have hot, fit and sexy bodies. Naturally, we want to show these sexy bodies off that we’ve worked so hard on– OR spent a lot of money on. Here is where the problem lies; women are damn near naked these days. The variations of body cons with sheer cutouts and bodysuits that cover nothing but literally a woman’s nipples, crotch and butt crack are overwhelming.

Listen, I can appreciate a beautiful woman and their confidence but I personally feel like things are just to the extreme at this point. There are more ways to be sexy than being naked. Furthermore, isn’t it a bit more temping for a man to wonder what you look like with no clothes on? The entire strip club theory – for a woman to look sexy with clothes on to the point that a man would pay to see what she looks like without clothes- now, it’s completely free. No, I am not saying allow men to pay to see you naked but shouldn’t something be worth your body? Love perhaps?

Attention is very enticing to women, we love and crave it…men drooling over our body does wonders for our egos and self esteem. So by no means am I saying give up your sexy…just balance it out. Follow these tips to ensure you’re not going overboard with your sexy.

Tip 1:

Boobs or booty…pick one. For example, if your rocking an extended v-neck dress or just a top the emphasizes your cleavage and bust area – tone down the lower body. In other words cover up the opposite portion of your body. Combining the revealing top with and a super short mini skirt or shorts would be too much. Of course, there are exceptions to this, such as beachwear etc. Check out an example of Sheneka Adams, who is clearly a sexy women, but she does a great job of balancing her sexy look.

Tip 2:

Stay away from extreme. If you are close to being naked, which means you are only covering your areoles and the crease of your buttocks, you might be doing too much.

Tip 3:

Try the “friend/family reaction” test. If the reaction is shock or a long disturbed stare…it probably means you’re going overboard. And let’s just face it, if you don’t even want to show your family, just be honest with yourself and tone it down a bit.

As always, I have to let you know that there are no real rules to fashion. If you love it, own it! Be who you are!
